Let Us Learn Welsh

From 29-31 July 2011, we were in Wales, a country that is part of the UK. For me, it is a very nice country to visit with many tourist attractions especially the mountain area which is called Snowdonia National Park. But, for this entry, I do not want to reveal the uniqueness of the places that we have visited. For 3 days there, we learned a few words of the Welsh language, spoken as a first language by the majority of the population, while English becomes as a second language. I never know that they have a special language. Fortunately, road signs in Wales are generally in both English and Welsh. Here are some of the signs....enjoy learning Welsh....

    Congratulations to you for supporting the Welsh Speakers. Over 21% of Wales population speaks Welsh. You should of come to the National Eisteddfod of Wales which was on last week in Wrexham.
